Early Intervention provides therapeutic services to children up to 3 years of age who have developmental disabilities or delays.
River Pediatric Therapies provides theses focused therapies through its partnering agency Achieva.
Early Intervention services are provided at no cost to families.
There is never a co-pay or a charge for the evaluation for service. This program provides flexible scheduling and can be performed in the child’s home, daycare, or wherever the family and therapist decide is the most familiar place for the child to receive treatment!
Early Intervention services can help our child’s development in a variety of areas that include:
- Early Childhood Education
- Feeding and Nutrition
- Hearing
- Occupational
- Physical
- Social Work
- Speech
- Vision
Your child’s Early Intervention therapist will work with you and your child, teaching you how to incorporate learning opportunities and therapeutic interventions into your child’s day. This family based teaching model is the cornerstone of our Early Intervention’s approach to therapy, and one that gives families the tools and confidence they need to help their child reach their goals.
